Costings
The following aspects need to be included:
- Travel to Camp. YMCA Raukawa Adventure Centre is situated 60 km’s from Wanganui and 30km’s from Raetihi. It takes approximately one hour to travel from Wanganui to the Camp
- Accommodation. Various accommodation options are available and include Cabins, Tents (self provided), Caravans, Campers, Movans or even Marae style in the hall. Accommodation charges are dependent on the type of accommodation, day visitor, catered overnight or self-catered overnight visitor.
- Meals. We have a fulltime Cook at the Camp and provide healthy meals. Self-catering options are available though we prefer to do the catering ourselves and charge a fee for kitchen use.
- Adventure Activities. Instructor and Equipment usage charges are dependent on group size and duration of activities.
- A deposit of $500.00 is required to confirm your booking. This deposit is non-refundable but is transferable. Day visitors can pay with cash or by cheque at the camp.
