Accommodation and Facilities

Raukawa has a full commercial kitchen that seat up to 110 individuals for meals and gatherings in the dining room. Our indoor climbing wall is situated on southern wall. The dining room can also be used for indoor games and activities

Our small hall also serves as a recreation room, classroom and additional dining facility. It could also be utilized for Marae style accommodation.

Our ablution block includes separate men’s and women’s toilet and shower facilities located behind the hall and kitchen.

We are able to supply the following if requested at the time of booking. (A small charge will apply):

Whiteboard and Markers
TV and VCR
Overhead projector and screen

We have three types of accommodation available at Raukawa Adventure Centre (RAC)

Cabins

Cabins sleep 74 people. The 9 cabins sleep from 8-12 people each. They are set in two rows on either side of a central field.

Camp Grounds (Tents)

Tent sites for up to 70 people are located east of our main site and use the ablution facilities of the main site. Due to the large size of our property we can accommodate many more in the pastoral areas of the centre as well.

Movanas

Camper vans (and Movana’s) can also be accommodated. (There are 4 powered sites and 20 other sites including a dump station.)

Marae Style

The hall is available to use Marae style sleeping up to 20 people.
